A big thank you to everyone who attended our Virtual Morning Tea this morning in recognition of National Reconciliation Week. While we couldn’t be physically together today, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia were proud to acknowledge our shared histories, cultures, and achievements virtually in recognition of this important week, as part of our commitment to reconciliation in Australia.
Justin Hodges from the Brisbane Broncos explains why this End of Financial Year, you should make a donation to support rural and regional communities through Rural Lifestyle Options Australia's Unfunded Projects initiative. Our Unfunded Projects initiative includes any project undertaken by Rural Lifestyle Options Australia which adds value to the lives of the people we support, which we do not receive any funding for. Every dollar we raise through our Unfunded Projects counts and contributes toward supporting a person with a disability living in a rural or regional community.

This week, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia acknowledged another two wonderful team members as ‘Heroes of COVID-19’ with both recipients receiving a certificate acknowledging exceptional practice and a $50 RLOA Gift Card which can be used at all major retailers.
A total of 42 staff members have now received this award, and we are sincerely grateful for their efforts to ensure the safe continuity of supports for our participants during this time.
We plan on continuing to recognise more ‘Heroes of COVID-19’ within the organisation, as the coronavirus situation continues to develop. Congratulations to our latest recipients and keep up the good work!
