Clinical care, your way.

Aged Care Nursing Services

At Rural Lifestyle Options Australia (RLOA), we firmly believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, professional nursing care that fits their lifestyle.

Whether you are recovering from a hospital stay, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking for peace of mind, our Registered Nurses are here to help you stay safe, well and independent at home. We are proud to offer flexible nursing services face to face across South-East Queensland and nationwide for telehealth appointments, with the same country charm and person-centred approach that has guided us for decades.

How can our Nursing Services support you?

We know that everyone’s needs are different, which is why we offer three ways to access nursing support:

In-Home Nursing (Face-to-Face)

Enjoy skilled clinical support in the comfort of your own home.

Our team can assist with:

  • Wound care and post-operative recovery

  • Medication management and reviews

  • Chronic condition support (including diabetes coaching and blood pressure checks)

  • Continence assessments, catheter and stoma care

  • Palliative and comfort-focused support in collaboration with your wider care team

Virtual Nursing (Telehealth)

Connect with a Registered Nurse by phone or video for guidance, education and reassurance.

Perfect for:

  • Quick health check-ins between appointments

  • Ongoing education and coaching

  • Monitoring results from health devices that can be shared with your GP or specialists

Post-Hospital Nursing

Transitioning from hospital to home can feel overwhelming.

Our nurses make this move easier by:

  • Reviewing discharge instructions

  • Setting up medications and equipment

  • Coordinating allied health referrals

  • Providing follow-up visits (virtual or in-home) to help reduce the risk of readmission

Who can access our Nursing Services?

Our nursing supports are available to:

  • Older Australians using Home Care Packages (HCP), and those who will transition to the new Support at Home program from 1 November 2025.

  • Private clients who would like flexible, on-demand support at home while waiting for funding approval or simply prefer to pay directly.
