Short Term Accommodation will appear in your NDIS plan under CAPACITY BUILDING (CB) Supports.

 

The NDIS describe Short Term Accommodation as:

 

  • Funded to allow participants, parents and carers to have a short break

  • Funded up to 28 days per year

  • Assistance with daily life tasks in a group and community access

  • Reflective of 24 hour care, 7 days/week

  • Formerly known as Respite under the Disability Services model
