The National Disability Insurance Scheme has allowed people like Mathew to have greater choice and control over how they live their life. Today, Mat decided to go to Beenleigh, where he went for a walk around the lake and visited the ducks. He chose where he wanted to go for lunch and chose what he wanted to eat. He printed some photos at the Beenleigh Shopping Centre for his bedroom and even had time to go on the swing at the local playground. Mat has a keen interest in trucks, so it only made sense that he finished off his busy day by admiring the Land Cruisers at the local dealership.
