We are thrilled to announce that Issue #12 of the biannual Rural Lifestyle Options Australia Magazine is now available! We are pleased to present our latest edition which includes informative articles about the NDIS and a snapshot of some of the exciting initiatives that we have been involved in over the past six months.

Every Tuesday, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia transport Ronald to the Family and Community Place in Yarrabilba where he spends the day volunteering. Ronald independently sweeps outdoor pathways, wipes down all the outdoor tables and chairs, cleans windowsills and door handles, and tidies and organises the book shelves. Ronald enjoys the responsibility of his job, and does it all with a smile on his face. Keep up the good work Ronald!

Earlier in the year, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia was successful in receiving a grant through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) to the value of $27,272.73. This grant assisted the organisation in purchasing one wheelchair accessible Kia Carnival, which in turn reduced our lease costs by $18,500 per annum. Mr Jon Krause MP, who provided a letter of support to complement our application, recently visited Mr David Gordon, Interim Chief Executive Officer, to learn more about the impact of this purchase, and what it meant to our participants when travelling from A to B.
