Recently, staff from the Commonwealth Bank Beaudesert Branch nominated Rural Lifestyle Options Australia as the recipient of their Community Centenary Grant. Branch Manager Louise Moir visited our South East Queensland Office to present a cheque for $10,000 to Michelle Lalailakepa, CEO.
Michelle Latailekapa thanked the Beaudesert Branch for their generosity and stated that the donation would assist the organisation "to continue to provide essential services for people with a disability living in rural and regional communities."
Since 1917, Commonwealth Bank staff have been supporting orgnaisations in need through their employee giving program, the CommBank Foundation. To commemorate their 100th year, they are awarding more than 220 grants to youth-focused organisations across Australia.
