Virtual Afternoon Tea for National Reconciliation Week 2022

A big thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Be Brave. Make Change’ Virtual Afternoon Tea today in recognition of National Reconciliation Week.

This year, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia were joined by special guest Amy Lee Farr, a proud Aboriginal woman from the Kunja (Gunya) tribe.

Amy spoke about the struggles she had faced growing up and touched on the pain and suffering caused to her ancestors by the traumas of the past.

Her story served as a reminder to us all that we can always do more to acknowledge our shared histories, cultures, and achievements if we want to truly achieve reconciliation in Australia.

It all starts with you, the reader, being brave and deciding to make a change. 🖤💛❤️
