International Women's Day 2018

Updated: Mar 15, 2018

Today, staff are encouraged to wear Purple, Green or White in recognition of International Women's Day. International Women's Day (8 March 2018) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

International Women's Day is not country, group or organisation specific. The day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. So together, let's all be tenacious in accelerating gender parity.

Yesterday, a number of staff members from our Queensland Office including Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Latailakepa held #IWD2018 selfie cards to show their support for International Women's Day and #PressForProgress

So make a difference, think globally and act locally! Do your bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding. Collectively, let's all Press for Progress.
