Disability Action Week 2021

This week is 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 – a time to acknowledge and celebrate the important and varied contributions that people living with a disability make to our state.

This year’s theme ‘𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 – 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺’, is about providing employment opportunities for people with a disability and highlighting the benefits of an inclusive workforce.

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)

Today, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia is recognising International Day of People with Disability.

This year’s theme is ‘Leadership and Participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID19 world.’

Let’s all work together to remove barriers for the 4.4 million Australians with disability so that everyone can participate and feel included in our Community.
