Executive Leader Brand and Innovation
Nicholas Power joined Rural Lifestyle Options Australia in May 2015 and is the Executive Leader Brand and Innovation for the organisation. Nicholas has played a key role in establishing an online presence for the organisation as well as a suite of promotional materials to be used for both networking and events. As Executive Leader Brand and Innovation, Nicholas acts as an internal consultancy in addition to a hands on role managing high volume marketing information including direct marketing, internal and external publications, website build and development, social media management, public relations, grants and fundraising, corporate events, promotional collateral, merchandising, brand design and awareness.

Shane Ferguson joined Rural Lifestyle Options Australia in November 2016 and is Executive Leader NDIS Supports with 16 years’ experience working in the Disability sector including a long tenure with the Queensland Government. As Executive Leader NDIS Supports, Shane is overall responsible for the quality of services provided to NDIS participants supported through Rural Lifestyle Options Australia. Shane provides support and leadership to the Lead Practitioner team and NDIS Intake and Support Officer. This role is integral in maintaining and expanding relationships, developing partnerships, ensuring quality services are delivered, responding to participant feedback and extending Supported Independent Living options.
Area Manager (South East Queensland)

Vicki Schofield joined Rural Lifestyle Options Australia in July 2017 and is Area Manager (South East Queensland) for the organisation. Her background spans 30 years’ working in the Disability sector holding senior positions in both non-government and government roles in Queensland and New South Wales. As Area Manager (South East Queensland), Vicki is responsible for the overall provision of services to participants of Rural Lifestyle Options Australia and provides support and leadership to the direct support team. This role is integral in engaging, maintaining and expanding relationships with key stakeholders including (but not limited to); participants, families, adult guardians, public trustee, employees and community organisations. Vicki is also a qualified general and psychiatric nurse having worked in both acute and community settings.
People and Culture Coordinator

Fiona Gazzard joined Rural Lifestyle Options Australia in February 2019 and is the People and Culture Coordinator for the organisation. Her belief that people are an organisations greatest asset drew her to Human Resources over 15 years ago, and she is available to provide advice and support for all members of the organisation during their employment journey with us. Previously, Fiona worked on Christmas Island as the Human Resources & Employee Relations Coordinator for the Indian Ocean Territories Administration, and most recently worked in the People & Culture Division of the National Disability Insurance Agency. As People and Culture Coordinator, Fiona acts as an internal consultancy provider in relation to key areas including Recruitment and Selection, Induction and Probation, Wellbeing and Employee Assistance, Industrial Relations, Performance Management and Employee Lifecycle Management.
